Self
introductions:
On Thursdays of each
week the membership gathers at Noon with the meeting beginning at 12:00
and ending shortly after 1:00pm. Each meeting starts with self
introductions by members describing their business and what type of leads
are beneficial. The weekly meetings take place at the Canadiana Restaurant.
Presentation:
Then there is a presentation
by a Club member. The presentation describes the member's business
to inform the membership about their business, history and how they
help their clients. M.E.G. members usually speak once a year. Once
a month a Guest Speaker is invited to the Club. Guest speakers are
brought in from many areas of business to inform the membership on
a variety of business topics.
Leads
and acknowledgments:
Next a leads and
acknowledgment session is held. Here, members pass valuable business
leads to other member businesses as well as acknowledge any business
received from M.E.G. members. In addition, each week, members contribute
their general knowledge of any business opportunities and current events
that could assist M.E.G. members.
Prizes:
Lastly, a small speakers
prize, donated by the presenter, is drawn for after each presentation.
A 50/50 draw is also held at each luncheon.
Rally Day:
Prospective members
are invited to our group on "Rally Day", which is held on the last
Thursday of each month. You will enjoy a wonderful three course
meal, with warm bread, tea / coffee. The cost of the meal is $20.00
which includes tax and gratuity. A prospective member can come up to
twice to see how our meeting works. If they decide to join for a
year we will reimburse the cost of the two meals!
